The New Medicine Ball
This little spherical wonder is my new best friend.
I recently switched chiropractors (having left my former one in La Canada, CA) and got a whole new diagnosis for some issues I’ve been having with my knee, pelvis and neck.
One of the exercises I’ve taken on is the use of a golf ball rolled beneath my feet to break up “adhesions”. Having worn a heel lift in my left shoe for the last three years, it’s left my foot/arch in an awkward state, especially since I was mis-diagnosed with the need of a lift.
It turns out that my legs are exactly the same length and that my pelvis is just severely twisted about. So now I’m to roll one of these little guys around beneath my feet several times a day.
No problem here with that: it’s working all my pressure points and otherwise giving me a free massage.
